Gollion

Gollion, in the district of Morges, is situated next to the river “La Venoge” at the bottom of the Jura mountain. This village of 502 inhabitants is between Cossonay and Aclens.

Gollion appeared in 1228. Its name means puddle because of the fact that the village was built on a swampy field.

It is also possible to visit Gollion by bike. The routes 5 and 63 SwissMobil - Cycling in Switzerland cross in this village of the Jura mountain.
