Leave the shores of Lake Geneva and go aboard the train Bière-Apples-Morges, that takes you across an idyllic landscape up to the Jura foot. During this unforgettable train ride you will have the opportunity to taste regional delicacies – this is the programme of the BAM Saveur offer.
BAM Saveur
If you go aboard the train in direction of Apples and L’Isle you will pass some memorable moments. The train BAM Saveur consists of an electric locomotive and a bar wagon of the year 1895 (year of construction of the Bière-Apples-Morges railway line). This romantic little train takes you up to Apples. During this ride you can enjoy the wonderful landscape while enjoying a welcome drink.
At the train station of Apples you will change to a restaurant wagon of the year 1925. During the ride to L’Isle Claude Joseph of the Auberge de la Couronne in Apples will spoil you with seasonal delicacies of the Morges region.
The gastronomic part of the trip ends at L’Isle, a lovely Jura foot village. After the returning to Apples you have the possibility to take the BAM train to Bière and to have a walk before returning to Morges. Another possibility is to visit the Mill of Sévery, the last manual oil mill in Switzerland that is being run throughout the year.
