Malakoff

Malakoff

Ingredients:
- 400 g of Swiss cheese (Gruyère)
- 200 g of flour
- 300 ml of white wine
- 150 ml of milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 soupspoon of oil
- Salt
- Whole pepper in the mill

Preparation

Cut the cheese into thumb-sized sticks;
Let them marinade in the white wine;
Mix the flour, the eggs and the milk to obtain a dough, add one pinch of salt and a spoon of oil;
Remove the cheese from the marinade and sprinkle it with flour before coating it generously with pastry;
Deep-fry in 180 degrees until obtaining a beautiful coloring;
Drain the Malakoffs on some paper towel;
Serve with pickled onions and gherkins.
