Perroy Appellation
The Perroy-Allaman vineyard is situated halfway between Geneva and Lausanne, in the heart of the La Côte region. It profits from a terrific situation above Lake Geneva and facing the Mont Blanc.
Smooth hillsides between the Jura and Lake Geneva, that have been shaped by the erosion and the sediment discharge from the Jura during thousands of years, give the wines of the La Côte region their unique and particular character.
The diversity of the La Côte wines reflects the rich palette of the cultivated grape varieties: Traditional Chasselas, Gamays and other Pinots, the Gamaret, Garanoir and Doral, and of course the numerous specialties such as Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay or Kerner.
Thanks to its geographic situation and the will of its winegrowers, the Perroy appellation has done pioneer work in the field of new, environmentally compatible cultivating methods.
Allaman
The two castles of Rochefort and Allaman characterise the wine village of Allaman. From the New Stone Age to the modern times, history has formed this village between Lake Geneva and the countryside. At Allaman there are big vineyards that enrich the wine pallet of the region considerably.
Perroy
As we can learn from its emblem with a golden grape, the wine village of Perroy has applied itself to viniculture for more than thousand years. The centre of the village is situated in the middle of the vineyards, that was planted around the Cistercian priory of the 12th century.
