Lakeside
In the lakeside region and its villages there are a lot of possibilities: One can do water sports, go for a boat trip, swim, angle, surf or bathe in the sun on one of the beaches.
The cities and villages on the bank of Lake Geneva profit from a first-rate situation facing the French Alps.
The lake offers numerous possibilities of athletic activities like sailing, kayaking, riding a pedalo and the latest newness: the Stand-Up Paddle.
For activities like a barbecue, a sunbath or a playtime, the beaches of Préverenges, Saint-Sulpice, Saint-Prex or La Cure d’Air in Morges are particularly appropriate.
However, the lakeside is not only a place of summer-resort. There are a lot of historical places of interest, such as the Romanic church of Saint-Sulpice, the Castle of Morges or the medieval town of Saint-Sulpice.
