Night of the Scarecrows (Grape Festival)
DENENS-MORGES – This colourful procession, based on a legend, leads its numerous participants and spectators from Denens – the world’s capital of scarecrows – to Morges.
Nuit des Epouvantails
After a cheerful spectacle in the courtyard of the Morges Castle there is a torchlight procession through the Old town of Morges. The King of Scarecrows is burned so that the vintage will succeed. After this procedure there is a big nocturnal party.
