The ascent starts at the Lac de Joux. Before the summit of the Mont-Tendre there is the Chalet of the Mont-Tendre. 

From the terrace you have a beautiful panoramic view on Lake Geneva, the Alps and the Vallée de Joux. From the summit of the Mont-Tendre you have an unbelievable view. 

Start point: Train station of Le Pont 
Arrival point : Bus stop “Le Col du Marchairuz” 
Access to the start point : Train from Lausanne 
Access to the arrival : Bus to Nyon and train to Lausanne

Difference level : about 800 m at the ascent and about 350 m at the descent

The yellow and red signs show the way until the Mont-Tendre. When you start from Le Pont, you will first walk along the lake before you start the first climb. After 3 hours walk you will arrive at the Chalet of Mont Tendre. From there, there are 20 minutes left to reach the summit .
