The Maison du Dessin de presse holds an exhibition dedicated to the cartoonist Tignous.
From June 16 to October 22, the Maison du Dessin de Presse is delighted to present an exhibition devoted entirely to Tignous. Not really a retrospective, this exhibition is a plunge into the heart of his work, his studio and his life. Commissioned by his wife, Chloé Verlhac, it reflects the very vocation of the artist, with his doubts, his trials, his flashes of insight and his honesty. The exhibition features 200 drawings, including some 50 originals, enriched by photos, enlargements, podcasts and portraits by his friends Cabu, Wolinski and Gros. An abundance of pieces, in the image of the committed, human artist he was.
