Artist Pascale Cuinier brings literature and art to the fore in this exhibition at Espace La Chaumière.
This Franco-Swiss artist first distinguished herself through her writing, particularly her poetry.
A painter, visual artist and press correspondent, Pascale is the author of various collections and art books.
Writing and color go hand in hand, but the two don't say the same thing for this passionate artist, who needs both languages to probe the human soul or express that of a more dreamlike nature.
“I work by theme and series. I explore, I exploit, nothing is ever fixed or definitive, everything is maturing, in movement, in perpetual energy. For some years now, I've been questioning the way in which the “hypertrophic” human being, who occupies all the space, can re-enter nature instead of confronting it. To do this, I like to represent the image that nature leaves me in general, leaving aside all rules and conformities”.
