What day owes to night is the story of an ideal pretext. That of a choreographer, who chose dance to connect with his origins. Algerian origins, discovered late and which echo the famous novel by Yasmin Khadra, whose name the play bears. Hervé Koubi thus weaves a bewitching web where contemporary dance, hip-hop and traditions mingle.
On stage, twelve dancers from Algeria and Burkina Faso reveal the richness of their heritage through graceful and powerful movements between hip-hop, street dance and contemporary dance. The choreographer thus tells his story during a journey across the Mediterranean basin, where the beauty of bodies in movement becomes the language of the soul.
