This former colony, lovingly restored with an eco-friendly approach, is located in the commune of Chalais, in the area known as Briey de Chippis.
Less than 10 minutes from the town of Sierre and the tourist resort of Vercorin, on a hill overlooking the Rhône and Val d'Anniviers. The view is magnificent and the location relaxing.
It has 5 bedrooms:
- N°1 Eve\, a room for one or two people with bunk beds
- N°2 Lulu\, a pretty double room (bed 140) with a balcony
- N°3 Odette\, a shared room\, possibility of renting by the bed
- N°4 Adèle\, family room for 2-6 people
- N°5 Zélie\, family room for 2-6 people
It is possible to accommodate the entire Bercail for 22 people.
It has the following rooms:
- A renovated shared kitchen
- Dining room 2 showers for 2 people
- 3 toilets
- Cosy lounge upstairs
Directions:
- From freeway exit 28 at Sierre\, follow signs for Vercorin.
- At the end of the 3 roundabouts\, DO NOT TAKE A LEFT IN THE DIRECTION OF CHIPPIS THE ROAD IS DANGEROUS. Turn right in the direction of Chalais Vercorin and Vercorin (turn left after the Chalais church).
- At the top\, after the Briey sign\, continue for about 1km and turn left after the garbage cans. Continue straight ahead (arrow on rock).
- After the fountain\, take another left turn with a small wall\, and immediately left after the old chalet\, climb to the top of the impasse de la colonie.
