August 1st in Morges
Celebrate the National Holiday on Friday, August 1, in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. On the program: rides on the little tourist train, fun and musical entertainment at the Château de Morges and Parc de l'Indépendance, a lively procession down to the quay, an aperitif hosted by the town, a card game, dancing and a tango ball until midnight, followed by a grand fireworks display on the Baie de l'Eglise under the stars, not forgetting the open-air cinema!
Schedule of events :
From 1pm
Free tourist train - departs from the landing stage.
Card game - Organized by Jeunesse de Morges at the Couvaloup cellars, registration on site or at jeunessemorges@gmail.com (CHF 20.00 per team). Followed by an atmospheric bar.

Castle entertainment - Le Trio du Mont-Pèlerin (alphorn), until 5.15pm.
Starting at 5pm
Free entertainment - Face painting and carousel, bouncy castle for children on Quai Jean-Louis-Lochmann (Temple side).
Food stalls - run by La Récréation mixed choir, Société des Petits Pêcheurs de Morges, Choeur Alphega Musica, AMAC, Parti Socialiste, Pasylema, Basilico, Pizza N3 and Moo Ping.

Musical entertainment - Harmonie Morgienne, Parc de l'Indépendance.
Activities at the château - Dip your hands in the dough at our “Wood-fired Bread” workshop and discover the surprising ingredients that have shaped bread over the centuries! until 8:30pm.

Official party at Parc de l'Indépendance (moved to the Temple in case of bad weather).

Procession to the aperitif, led by the musical group La Bande de Dièses. Route from Place Louis-Soutter to Quai Jean-Louis-Lochmann, via Rue du Parc, Grand-Rue, Place de l'Église and Rue du Bluard. The P'tit Train will be available for people with reduced mobility.
