Invented in the 80s, swin golf is a less expensive more accessible variant of golf. At the Lavigny Swin Golf Course, all participants are given a 15-minute introduction to this game before they set off round an 18-hole course amidst beautiful scenery overlooking Lake Geneva.
Overlooking La Côte vineyard, between Morges and Nyon, Lavigny Swin Golf Course welcomes children and adults, golfers and novices, on a hill with views over Lake Geneva. The whole family can participate in this derivative of golf, which is played with just one club for teeing off, chipping and putting.
More rustic than the usual greens and fairways, the 11 hectare course has 18 holes and after a 15-minute introduction included in the admission price, participants can start hitting their foam ball, which is as light as a golf ball but bigger.
To offer a winning combination of fresh air and good food, the chalet restaurant serves simple and typically Swiss meals inside or outside on the relaxing terrace. Aiming to be accessible to all - Lavigny is also a designated facility for the disabled - Swin Golf is preparing six wheelchair accessible hotels.
