From Vufflens to Morges Castles, this two-part walk – through wine-producing villages and the heart of the Mediaeval town – will allow you to experience the richness of the La Côte AOC region and all the flavour of the wines of the biggest vineyard of the Vaud canton.
From the wine-producing villages of Morges, you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Geneva, the Mediaeval town and, in clear weather, Mont Blanc right opposite. In this picture postcard setting, this vineyard walk is a fun way to explore the region and discover local specialities and wines. Starting from Vufflens and its imposing castle, the Vaud:Guide free app takes you along a route of over 6 km (about 5 among the vines and 1.5 in Morges), with about thirty historical, original or key sights. For each one, you can do a multiple-choice quiz, use your GPS to find a precise place or take a photo of yourself in front of a fantastic view, to win points. For novices, no need to panic, the answers are easy to find for the observant!
