Tulip festival & floralies
The Tulip Festival embellishes the town of Morges, particularly its Independence Park during the months of April and May. Every year, 100,000 visitors come to admire the 150,000 or so tulips planted in the Park.
- Mid March - mid April: magnolias and cherry trees bloom in the Arboretum in Aubonne. The village of Eclépens is embellished by daffodils.
- From May to October: the gardens of the Château de Vullierens are in bloom. Different varieties of flowers guarantee magnificent landscapes from May to October. You can admire irises of course but also roses and lilies.
- From July to October: the quays of Morges are home to dozens of different kinds of dahlias.
Audrey Hepburn
The actress lived for many years in Tolochenaz, a small village close to Morges. Many traces of her visit are still visible in the town.

wine TOURISM
La Côte is a recognised wine region. Between the Chasselas and the Servagnin, many other specialities exist and allow everyone to find their favourite wine!Several offers allow you to discover the regional wines and vineyards.
- Wine Tasting Pass: the concept is simple: the pass costs CHF 15.00 and allows you to visit a cellar and taste 6 wines from the winemaker of your choice. More information and purchase of the pass here.
- Vaud open cellars: The open cellars are an annual event, usually held in the Spring. During a weekend, the cellars are open and by means of a pass, that can be purchased on the Internet or from the winemakers, you can visit any winemaker and taste their wines.
- Train des vignes: during July and August, the little touristic train of Morges takes you to a winegrower's in the surroundings of Morges on Thursday evenings. You can visit the cellar and taste the wines before returning to Morges by little train. All the info here.

Tine de Conflens
The Tine de Conflens is an impressive waterfall, where the Venoge and the Veyron rivers meet in a magnificent rocky setting.
A signposted path leads to the bottom of the gorges, from where you can admire perfect torrential "pots" that play with the watercourse.
There is a nice hike from Cossonay to reach it.
Access beyond the platform located at the end of the marked path (platform delimited by cables) is not allowed. In view of the high risk of rock falls and the dangers of flooding in this sector, the Municipality declines all responsibility for anyone venturing into the unsafe areas.
Parking is limited, mainly in high season. Public transport is preferred for exploring this natural site. Departure from Cossonay or La Sarraz train stations. If, however, you wish to reach the Tine de Conflens by car, parking is available at the entrance of La Sarraz, next to the sports centre.

OIL MILL OF SÉVERY
A true institution for lovers of ancestral and local products, the Mill of Sévery still perpetuates the traditional techniques for making walnut-, hazelnut- and many other oils.

Lake Geneva
To discover without moderation! There are several ways to discover it, here is our selection:- Cruise on the lake: the navigation company (CGN) offers trips on the lake. You can reach Yvoire or Evian by boat from Morges or take part in a themed outing. Tickets for these trips can be bought at the Maison du Tourisme in Morges. Please note that departures from Morges only take place during the Summer period.
- Paddle session: Rent a stand-up paddle to discover the lake up close! You can rent one in Saint Prex, Préverenges or Morges.
- View of the Mont Blanc: from Morges, the view of the majestic Mont Blanc is splendid. You can admire it along the lake, from the Igor Stravinski quay to the Independence Park. The most favourable conditions are a clear sky with good weather but little sunshine.
- Beaches: There are several beaches along the lake. For example, you can go to the beaches in Préverenges, Buchillon, Tolochenaz or Saint-Prex (Bain des dames, Bain des hommes, Plage du Coulet, Plage de la Place d'Armes).
Signal de Bougy
The children's paradise exists, it's the Signal de Bougy!Playgrounds, animal park, minigolf, petanque ground and table tennis is only a selection of the outdoor activities that can be found at the Signal de Bougy. In case of bad weather, the Kid'zclub is there to welcome them indoors!
Adjacent to the Signal de Bougy, the Adventure Park and its 15 courses in the trees will appeal to young and less young adventurers alike.
Arboretum du Vallon de l'Aubonne
On the heights of Morges, nearly 200 hectares of nature, as far as the eye can see, await you. 4'000 varieties of tree species from all over the world are to be admired. The park is open all year round but the reception is only open during the Summer season.The Wood Museum is also open only during the Summer period.
Trails have been laid out to help you discover every corner of the park.
In the park, picnic tables and fire places are available for walkers.
Fondation Michalski
A true temple of literature, the Michalski Foundation offers a library accessible free of charge to all, offering a wide panorama of modern and contemporary literature. A variety of collections provide the best possible representation of the scope.The Foundation's cultural space hosts temporary exhibitions and events always related to writing and literature.
