The Association aims to develop tourism and promote the prosperity of Morges and neighbouring municipalities.
Morges Région Tourisme has an annual budget of about 550,000 francs. Of this total, 20% is allocated to marketing activities according to a targeted regional, national and international strategy. Our team: 3 employees at 100%, one employee at 70%, one accountant at 50%, one responsible for tourist tax at 20%, two trainees who are future students of the Swiss Tourism School and one apprentice. Our association is mainly financed by the Municipality of Morges as well as by partners from the tourist, economic, political and other sectors.
To inform the guests and motivate them to stay in our region for leisure or business - this is the primary mission.
With the help of our partners, we are counting on quality tourism. To promote tourism is to promote our economy, our brand, our image to help position Morges and its region in Switzerland and in priority markets.
In addition to this important mission, our office is also at the disposal of the local population to provide various services such as general documentation, calendar of events in the Morgian region, or various lists (local companies, rooms for rent, etc.) as well as the sale of transport tickets (MBC).
