CONCERT Les Variations Goldberg de Johann Sebastian Bach
Summary: Polish pianist Miłosz Sroczyński, noted for his Davos Festival debut, performs Bach’s Goldberg Variations. His debut album (Genuin Classics, 2026) has been praised by critics.
FROM GESTURE TO SOUNDT
Through Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations, this concert offers an unprecedented dialogue between music and lithography.
Just as the lithographer presses their gesture into stone, the pianist imprints theirs into sound. Each performance, much like each print, is a unique work of art, born from the encounter between mastery, sensitivity, and the present moment.Let yourself be carried away by this experience where music and printmaking echo each other, revealing all the poetry of the creative gesture.
Miłosz Sroczyński, a Polish pianist based in Zurich, first came to Morges in 2014 for the Morges Musical Academy, studying under Cédric Pescia. His acclaimed debut at the Davos Festival in 2024 earned him an immediate re-invitation for 2025. In 2026, he is participating in the instrumental residency of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence Academy, under the mentorship of Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
His training took him to Hanover, Geneva, and Zurich, and later to the Royal College of Music in London. His debut album, Bach’s Goldberg Variations (Genuin Classics, 2026), was praised by Camille De Rijck (La Libre Belgique): “the premise triumphs over the listening test.”
