Morges Région Tourisme is committed to sustainable tourism through a range of schemes and programmes. Promoting the local area, respecting the environment and offsetting carbon emissions are among its key initiatives.

VAUD AMBASSADEUR

Since April 2025, Morges Région Tourisme has been part of the VAUD AMBASSADEURS scheme, making it the first tourist office in the canton to be awarded this mark of excellence.

This label is awarded by Vaud Promotion. It recognises organisations and businesses that embody the core values of the canton of Vaud: excellence, sustainability, local roots and openness.

SWISS WINE TOUR

With the Swiss Wine Tour, discover Switzerland’s rich wine heritage through a selection of wine tourism activities, carefully chosen in line with a nationally recognised quality standard.

LES GRANDS SITES DU GOÛT

Since 2022, the Morges region has been a member of the Grands sites du goût, with the walnut as its signature product.

In collaboration with the Moulin de Sévery, this project is helping to put Morges on the Swiss ‘map of taste’, whilst promoting the expertise and traditions associated with this exceptional product, which has held a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status since 2020.

VAUD OENOTOURISME

A wine-growing region and a land of fine dining, the Pays de Vaud stands out as a destination of choice for visitors seeking authentic and epicurean experiences.

Launched by the Canton of Vaud, the ‘Vaud Œnotourisme’ certification recognises professionals in the hotel, catering, wine and gastronomy sectors who share the same high standards of quality and a commitment to promoting the local region.

SWISSTAINABLE

Sustainable tourism means travelling more mindfully and making the most of every moment.

Switzerland Tourism’s Swisstainable programme promotes authentic experiences: nature, local culture, regional produce and longer stays.

A philosophy that is fully in line with Slow Tourism! Morges Région Tourisme is committed to this approach and has been certified as ‘engaged’ by Swisstainable.

MYCLIMATE

Our commitment to sustainable tourism

Since 2021, Morges Région Tourisme has been taking part in myclimate’s Cause We Care programme to help promote more responsible tourism.

When you book online, you can add a voluntary contribution of 1.5 per cent (min. CHF 1.–). Morges Région Tourisme will double your contribution, which supports both climate protection projects and local sustainability initiatives.
