Slow initiatives by Morges Région Tourisme
Morges Région Tourisme has joined several schemes and schemes of certification over the years, following its adoption of the ‘Slow Tourism’ approach.
- Swisstainable (level 2 – Engaged)
- My Climate – Cause we care
- Vaud Ambassadeur
- In keeping with the Slow Food philosophy, Morges Région Tourisme has joined the ‘Grands sites suisses du goût’ (Great Swiss Sites of Taste), with the walnut as its signature product.
Morges Région has drawn up a sustainability charter, which it has invited all its members and partners to complete.
This is a self-assessment tool for businesses. They can use it to record all the initiatives they have taken towards sustainability. They can also use it to identify areas where there is room for improvement.
Visit the Sustainability page to view the charters of all participating members.
As well as being a pioneer in sustainability, the destination has sought to position itself as a destination for accessible tourism.
You can therefore find all the venues that are accessible or partially accessible on the Accessibility page.
