Transport & Access
The Morges area is situated between Geneva and Lausanne, between the shores of Lake Geneva and the foothills of the Jura Mountains. It can be reached by train and bus as well as by car from Geneva Airport and German-speaking Switzerland, and by boat from neighbouring France.
Transport
Morges and the surrounding area can be reached by train via the regional rail network.
For visitors travelling from Europe, the following international connections are available:
- The TGV Lyria runs to Lausanne from Paris (then on to Lausanne-Morges, 15 mins)
- The TGV INOUI runs to Geneva from Montpellier or Marseille (Geneva-Morges in under 30 minutes)
- Les ICE allemands relient Hambourg, Berlin ou Francfort à Bâle (Bâle-Morges moins de 2h15min)

For international travellers, the “Léman – Alpes” Regional Pass offers unlimited train journeys for 2 or 3 days.
Parking and passenger drop-off
Free parking is available for coaches at the Parking du Petit Bois.
(Prom. du Petit-Bois 29A, 1110 Morges). You can drop off and pick up your passengers at the same location.
Access to the park
Signs will guide your passengers from the Petit Bois car park to the Parc de l’Indépendance, where the Tulip Festival is taking place.
- It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the car park to the park.
IMPORTANT: The Parcs des Sports car park is no longer accessible for dropping off coach passengers.
Morges-Bière-Cossonay Regional Transport (MBC) operates the bus network in the Morges district.

In Morges, you can pay for your parking using the Parkingpay app.
It is also possible to pay via Twint at parking meters.
Motorway: Morges is situated alongside the A1 motorway, between Geneva and Lausanne.
Camping-cars
The TCS campsite in Morges has pitches for motorhomes.
‘Wild’ camping is not permitted in Switzerland.
You can contact the relevant local authority to enquire about a special permit.
In Morges, you can contact the Morges Regional Police.
Morges has a landing stage, and some CGN (Compagnie Générale de Navigation) boats call there
Opening hours
In spring and autumn, the boats call at Morges at weekends only. During the summer (from June to mid-September), you can take the boat every day from Morges and St-Prex.

Private boaters are requested to report to the Morges Harbour Master’s Office.

Travellers who do not have their own vehicle can book a taxi for a journey or hire a car with a driver for a full or half day.
