Commune Hautemorges

Commune Hautemorges

The commune of Hautemorges is the result of the merger of the towns of Apples, Bussy-Chardonney, Cottens, Pampigny, Reverolle and Sévery on 1ᵉʳ July 2021.

Apples :
With a magnificent panorama of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, Apples is accessible via the BAM (Bière-Apples-Morges) railway, as well as a bus service from Morges station.

Bussy-Chardonney:
Separated by the Roman road "La Vy de l'Etraz", the village of Bussy and the hamlet of Chardonney-sur-Morges officially became Bussy-Chardonney in 1961.

Cottens:
The village has a pretty neo-Romanesque Reformed church dating from 1893 and a famous dairy.

Pampigny:
It would seem that at the foot of the hillock overlooking the village, an earlier castle would, before being replaced by the present church, have occupied the top of this hillock.

Reverolle:
Situated on a plateau, this village enjoys a magnificent view of almost the entire canton, Lake Geneva, Savoy, the Alps, Mont Blanc and the Jura.

Sévery:
Sévery has the last remaining cold press for walnut oil in Switzerland and is an unavoidable stop to enjoy a demonstration and a tasting.
