Guided tours of the old town of Cossonay

On the steps of our ancestors! Discover the old town of Cossonay, its history, its architecture and the rich life of its inhabitants, nicknamed the “traînes-gourdins”.

During the summer season, the Commune of Cossonay offers guided tours. The guides will take you for a journey back in time. You just have to register to participate.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the origins of this town and the life of the Sires of Cossonay, but also to admire many buildings from past centuries.

Cossonay has one of the last mechanical clocks of the Canton of Vaud still in function. You will have the privilege to see this clock made in 1785 and to hear its ringing.
