Morges Region Tourisme recognises its responsibility towards the environment, society and the economy, and participates in the Myclimate ‘Cause we Care’ sustainable development programme.
Morges Région Tourisme offers a 1.5 per cent surcharge on online purchases – subject to a minimum of CHF 1.00 – to fund a climate-neutral initiative. The customer’s voluntary contribution to “Cause We Care” is matched by the region.
Thanks to these contributions, the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the requested service are offset by climate protection projects run by the Myclimate Foundation. The project selected is: ‘Purified drinking water for schools and families in Uganda’.
At the same time, Morges Tourisme is doubling its contribution and investing internally in sustainability. This has a twofold positive impact on climate protection. The organisation is becoming climate-neutral.
