Bière – Stroll of paper mill, tile factory, martinet and mill

During this walk devoted to the old professions of the area, you can first of all discover the remains of the old paper mill (1603-1837). Five hundred meters further, walk along the beautiful former tile factory, where tiles were manufactured until 1928.
Finally, in a pretty vale, the visitor can admire the site, that saw the activities of a martinet (forge), a sawmill and a mill from which the millers have disappeared, but where the SEFA still exploits the hydraulic power of the place by means of an impressive Archimedes’ screw.
