Every summer, the quays of Morges welcome dahlias of varied shapes and colors. Between the Temple and the Blancherie, this flower-lined promenade runs along Lake Geneva. It offers the chance to admire the flowers in an exceptional setting.
The Dahlia Festival features an open-air floral exhibition. Admission is free. It is one of the iconic events of summer in Morges.

The flowering period lasts several weeks. As a result, the look of the flower beds changes throughout the season.
The Dahlia Festival is located along the Quai Igor-Stravinsky, between the Temple and the Blancherie. The site is easily accessible from the center of Morges and the train station.
Access to the quays and the exhibition is free of charge. Donations may be offered to support the event.
The visit can be brief, or part of a longer walk along the lake.

A Morges tradition since 1996
The Dahlia Festival was created in Morges in 1996 on the initiative of local florist Ernest Lüthi.
Since then, the Quai Igor-Stravinsky has hosted this floral exhibition every year, sustained by the work of the City of Morges, the association Morges Fleur du Léman, and many volunteers.
The event is part of a floral tradition that is now part of Morges’ identity.
The 2026 edition
The Dahlia Festival celebrates its 30th edition in 2026 on the quays of Morges. This edition’s theme is “Tales and Legends.”
To mark this anniversary, Morges organized a festive weekend from August 21 to 23. Visitors enjoyed entertainment, music, food, and activities for all ages.
Bouquets from the Domaine du Petit Sécheron in Lully are offered for sale at the markets in Morges.

- Coaches can use the Blancherie bus stop to drop off and pick up visitors.
- Stops here should be brief and made as far forward in the zone as possible, so as not to disrupt regular bus traffic.
For coach parking, a free parking area is available at the Petit-Bois car park.
