The vineyard has benefited from Kind's expertise for more than 20 years. Gabi and Lucien, a motivated and devoted couple, wanted to continue the legacy of this profession by taking over La Cave de la Pinaudaz in Lonay from the Croisier family in 2015. They look forward to welcoming you!
Situated in an area that was formed during the Ice Age, the soil is moderately gravelly with a distribution between heavy and sometimes sandy soil. We also note the presence of rather weak limestone components. All of these elements make up a terroir that will give the wine a very present structure.
The vine is cultivated on a semi-high pruning and trellised on wire. This makes it easy to regulate production and to follow the ripening process precisely.
