Éric is turning fifty. Sabine, his devoted wife, has organised a small birthday party for him, as Éric doesn't like big gatherings. Gilles, his best friend — but also his business partner — will be the only guest.
Before sitting down to enjoy a delicious coq au vin, Sabine and Gilles give him his presents. His wife's gift fills him with joy... but when he discovers Gilles's gift, he almost chokes! Stunned, he blurts out: ‘Why on earth are you giving me this?!’ "
