Experience a burlesque show and participate in a workshop with an ornithologist.
With your family, enjoy a burlesque performance where mischievous birds turn the lives of two cooks upside down, and explore their world during a birdwatching guided tour.
The menu: a cooking lesson. But these cooks are two absolute rascals! They can’t wait to share their recipe for spaghetti with birds and earthworms... Grotesque and hilarious, their thirst for destruction soon backfires, and the birds escape: suddenly, the theater is filled with their songs and music! This carnivalesque fable invites us to question human dominance over the living world through a new, inventive, and empathetic way of listening to our surroundings.
An outdoor birdwatching guided tour, led by experts, completes this sensory experience and offers a practical look into the world of birds. Who are these flying, singing creatures living on the outskirts of our cities and villages? How do they live? What are their surprising characteristics? A complete and playful experience.
This event is organized in collaboration with the Théâtre de Vidy and L’éprouvette, the Science and Society Laboratory of Unil.
