The spiritual path Veyron-Venoge
Underneath the village of Mont-La-Ville lies an erratic block steeped in history.
This small trail, located on a hiking itinerary, takes part of the erratic boulders trail, marked out by Mr Raymond Gruaz de l'Isle. At the end of this section you reach the Hanging Stone. As with many of these erratic boulders, a legend revolves around the fact that this stone has a special feature of its own, namely that at precisely midnight on Christmas Eve, unless it is during New Year's Eve, it turns around.
